Hashdex Bitcoin ETF was a US Bitcoin ETF, a stock-market fund that held real Bitcoin on behalf of its shareholders. It was run by Hashdex. When money came into the fund, it bought Bitcoin; when money left, it sold. Its shares were bought and sold through a normal brokerage account, like any stock.
