The dollars are the coins valued at each day's closing price, so they can differ a little from the figures the funds publish themselves. The coin count and the dollars do not move in step: XRP's price moves every day, so the dollars can climb on a day money leaves and slip on a day it arrives.

An XRP ETF is a fund you buy on the stock market that holds real XRP for you. You buy its shares through an ordinary brokerage account and the fund owns the coins. The US XRP funds have been trading since 2025.
This page counts what the funds hold two ways, in dollars and in coins. The dollars are the coins valued at that day's closing price, so they rise and fall with XRP's price even on a day no money moves, and they can sit a little off the figure a fund publishes, which is taken at a different time of day.
What the funds hold changes for two reasons: money going in or out, and the price of the coin. The Money in and out page follows the first on its own, the What they paid page sets the price against what the funds paid, and the Coins leaving page shows what coins going out had gained or lost.
The share of all ETF money compares the XRP funds with every US crypto ETF we follow, all coins together, in dollars. It moves with XRP's price against the other coins' prices as well as with money going in or out.
One note on the coin counts above. The funds themselves only began publishing what they hold recently, so for the older part of this record we work the number out from the money that went in and the XRP price on the day it arrived. It is close rather than exact, and it gets firmer every month as more published counts come in.
